2025 Season News (Dec 10, 2024)
Chico Senior Softball 2025 Season News:
General News:
Here’s all the news for the upcoming 2025 season.
2025 Registration (Please read ALL registration info below):
Registration for our 2025 season will begin January 01, 2025. Please check our Registration page to register for the 2025 season.
A Paper Registration (Player Application) form is available in our Documents section if you prefer to mail in your registration.
We only accept check, cash, or credit cards as form of payment with your registration.
The 2025 Registration Fees are the same as last year at $140 per division.
If you register to play in a 2nd division the fee is reduced to $70 for “That 2nd Division ONLY” by using the discount code of “2025Dual” (minus the quotes, one word, case sensitive)
>>> Please DO NOT apply the discount code if playing in only one division. The discount is ONLY for the 2nd division you are playing in.
Applying the code if playing only one division will lead to your registration being rejected.
IMPORTANT REGISTRATION NOTE: Team Roster Limits:
Just as in 2024, teams will be limited to 13 players per team. The number of teams per division will be determined based on how many players are registered by March 16, 2025, before the draft begins March 17th. Only registered and fully paid players will be included in the draft.
It is strongly recommended that players register or mail registrations with payment by March 01, 2025, to ensure they are included in the draft.
>>> Registering & Paying after March 16, 2025, does not guarantee placement on a team. Best efforts will be made to place you on a team, but teams will not be overloaded beyond 13 players.
New Optional Registration Question:
This year during registration we will ask you to tell us if you are a U.S. Military Veteran, Yes or No. We don’t need to know anything else about your military service.
This information will possibly be used and shared with the 4 local Veteran and 1 Veteran’s Wives organizations that sponsored CSS in 2024 and perhaps in 2025. This is a cross-organization effort between CSS & the Veteran groups to mutually promote each other
MANAGERS NEEDED:
Managers and Assistant Managers are needed for the 2025 season. Managers and Asst Managers are automatically on the same team. Primary duties of the Managers/Asst Managers are,
a. Draft your team on draft night.
b. Make your teams line up for each game.
c. Communicate with your players as needed on other matters.
If you are interested in managing, please contact any CSS Board Member or email the Board at [email protected] to express your interest.
As always, we encourage new Managers/Asst Managers each year to step forward as we cannot rely on or expect the same guys to do it each year.
What if there are not enough managers? If this happens then the CSS Board will draft the team(s) and the selected players will need to name a manager amongst themselves once the season starts.
2025 Sponsors:
Sponsors are needed to help defray the costs of the 2025 season.
If you, your business, or anybody you know would like to sponsor our league this year the Sponsorship Form is available/downloadable in the Documents section of this web site.
You can also sponsor online under the Sponsors menu or clicking here.
What you get as a sponsor is,
a. Your name is on the back of a team's uniform.
b. Listed on our Sponsors page.
c. Your logo included on all our page side panels rotated randomly.
d. Your logo is scrolling in our banner at the top of all pages.
e. All logos on our site include a link to your website.
f. Knowing that, you are helping the Chico & North Valley community.

Interested in Helping?: If you have accounting experience and would like to help the league in this role, please contact any CSS Board Member or email the Board at [email protected].
