Chico Senior Softball 2026 Season News:
2027 CSS Board of Directors Election.
Have ideas about how to make Chico Senior Softball better?
If you like playing senior softball, and want that to continue, please consider serving on the CSS Board of Directors. We have 5 current board members whose 2-year term will expire this September and need to be filled.
If you’re interested in applying, just send an email to board@chicoseniorsoftball.com indicating your interest. Please submit your application prior to August 3rd. It doesn't matter what division you play in.
2026 Registration has Closed.
All 2026 Registration is now closed and we will not be accepting any new registrations for the remainder of the 2026 Season.
We hope that all interested players will return to this website for news and registration for the 2027 season.

We're introducing a new feature in our Articles section. You can also find it in the Articles Box in the Left Side Panel on this page.
Here we list all our Teams and the Sponsors assigned to those teams. We're also including links to each of the Teams CSS page and to the Sponsors website.
We hope you find this new feature helpful.
2026 CSS Rules:
Our 2026 CSS Rules have been updated and are available on our Documents Page. At the end of the document there is a Summary section that calls out all changes made.
All players are encouraged to review the 2026 CSS Rules.
Change of Note: Rule #9, Masters now begin at-bats with a 1-1 count.
2026 Sponsors:
Sponsorship for the 2026 season is now available for a Sponsorship Fee of $250.
If you, your business, or anybody you know would like to sponsor our league for the 2026 season the Sponsorship Form is available/downloadable in our Documents section of this web site or Click Here to open the form.
You can also sponsor online under the Sponsors menu or Clicking Here.
What you get as a CSS sponsor is,
- a.
Your name is on the back of a team's uniform. (if before the March team drafts.)Team Uniforms went to print March 26th. - b. Your logo scrolling in our banner at the top of all pages
- c. Your logo included on all our page side panels rotated randomly.
- d. All logos on our site include a link to your website.
- e. Listed on our Sponsors page.
- f. Listed in our Team Sponsors article in our left panel
- g. Knowing that, you are helping the Chico & North Valley community.
2026 Game Plans/Schedule:
All subject to change
Our 2026 schedule is now available for viewing online.
Games will begin Monday, March 30th 2026.
Open: Tues & Thurs Evenings, (24 games + playoffs.)
Veterans: Mon & Wed Evenings. (24 games + playoffs.)
Masters: Tues & Thurs Mornings. (24 games + playoffs)
The season's remaining games will be played at Barile Field, check our schedule for details.
Rainouts or other re-scheduled games may be played on any weekday evening, and/or possibly on another field, as they are available.
