best efforts to manually update counts will be made)

The 2026 registration fee will be $140, the same as the past two seasons. Thank you to our sponsors that have helped make that possible.

Rather mail in your check & registration? A Paper Registration Form is also available on our Documents Page.

(Unfortunately, postmarks "Do Not" count, we must have your registration & payment in our hands to place you on a team.)

Want to play in two (2) divisions? You can as long as your “Age Eligible” for each division. And here’s the best part! That 2nd division is Half-Price or $70. Enter the discount code 2ndDivision2026 when AND ONLY WHEN you are registering for your 2nd division.
(
Using the discount code if you are only playing in one division will cause your registration to be rejected.)

2026 Draft:

The 2026 draft is scheduled for the week of March 16, 2026. Each division will hold its own draft night, 6:00pm at Mountain Mike’s Pizza on Mangrove Ave as follows.

Masters Draft: Monday, March 16, 2026.
Veterans Draft: Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
Open Draft: Thursday, March 19, 2026.
These 3 Draft Nights are closed meetings with only managers & board members attending. These are the only meetings that are ever closed. All other board meetings are open to whoever would like to attend.

2026 CSS Rules:

Our 2026 CSS Rules have been updated and are available on our Documents Page. At the end of the document there is a Summary section that calls out all changes made.
All players are encouraged to review the 2026 CSS Rules.

Change of Note: Rule #9, Masters now begin at-bats with a 1-1 count.

5th VETERANS MANAGER NEEDED:

We need a 5th Manager/Asst Manager team for Veterans, preferably before the Wednesday, March 18th Draft.
Your responsibilities would be,

  • a. Draft your team on draft night.
  • b. Mange the team roster for the season.
  • c. Make your teams line up for each game.
  • d. Vote for your division’s All-Stars.
  • e. Communicate with your players as needed on other matters that come up.

If you are interested in managing, please contact any CSS Board Member or email the Board at board@chicoseniorsoftball.com to express your interest.

As always, we encourage new Managers/Asst Managers each year to step forward as we cannot rely on or expect the same guys to do it each year.

What if there are not enough managers? If this happens then the CSS Board will draft the team(s) and the selected players will need to name a manager amongst themselves once the season starts.

  • c. Your logo scrolling in our banner at the top of all pages
