General News:
Here’s all the news for the upcoming 2025 season.
Rule Changes – Mar 11, 2025: Multiple rule changes were implemented out of the last board meeting. Everybody is encouraged to check them out in our CSS Rules available in our Documents section.
See the Summary section at the end for details about all the rule changes.
(The big change is to “the Rule 5 – Trees” rule.)
2025 Draft Dates: Our 2025 league draft has been completed.

2025 LATE Registration (Please read ALL registration info below):
Late Registration is now open and will remain open, even after the season starts, until all teams fill up. There are spots available in the Open & Veterans divisions. Once the divisions fill up, any new registrants that are fully paid will be placed onto a waiting list.
Waiting list players will be placed on a team as openings become available in the order of registration.
Waiting list players are eligible to be Pool Players as part of their paid registration. See our Rules document, Rule #30, on our Documents page about Waiting List players playing as Pool Players.
Please check our Registration page to see availability and to register for the 2025 season.
We only accept check, cash, or credit cards as form of payment with your registration.
The 2025 Registration Fees are the same as last year at $140 per division. The fee is the same for late registrations.
If you register to play in a 2nd division the fee is reduced to $70 for “That 2nd Division ONLY” by using the discount code of “2025Dual” (minus the quotes, one word, case sensitive)
>>> Please DO NOT apply the discount code if playing in only one division. The discount is ONLY for the 2nd division you are playing in.
Applying the code if playing only one division will lead to your registration being rejected.
IMPORTANT REGISTRATION NOTE: Team Roster Limits:
Just as in 2024, teams will be limited to 13 players per team. The number of teams per division will be determined based on how many players are registered by March 16, 2025, before the draft begins March 17th. Only registered and fully paid players will be included in the draft.
2025 Sponsors:
Sponsors are still needed to help defray the costs of the 2025 season.
If you, your business, or anybody you know would like to sponsor our league this year the Sponsorship Form is available/downloadable in the Documents section of this web site.
You can also sponsor online under the Sponsors menu or clicking here.
What you get as a sponsor is,
a. Your name is on the back of a team's uniform. Uniforms ordered 03/28/2025.
b. Listed on our Sponsors page.
c. Your logo included on all our page side panels rotated randomly.
d. Your logo is scrolling in our banner at the top of all pages.
e. All logos on our site include a link to your website.
f. Knowing that, you are helping the Chico & North Valley community.
2025 Game Plans/Schedule:
All subject to change
Our schedule is online with games beginning Monday, March 31, 2025.
Open: Tues & Thurs Evenings, (24 games + playoffs.)
Veterans: Mon & Wed Evenings. (24 games + playoffs.)
Masters: Tues & Thurs Mornings. (24 games + playoffs)
The season's games are played at Sycamore Field, which is located in Bidwell Park near Caper's Acres.
Rainouts or other re-scheduled games may be played on any weekday evening, and/or possibly on another field, as they are available.
League Batting Practices:
Our 2025 league batting practices will begin at 9:30am and 4:00pm before any regularly scheduled games. See our Schedule or Announcement page for confirmation.
